Dino anyone?

Okay, so here's the other dinosaur from Whipper Snapper. As I said earlier, I will be out tonight with my peeps! (Sorry Morgan, Mom couldn't help it!) So I thought I would post this now since I'm never back home before the am on girls nights! I just couldn't hold back the girly side of me with this card. Enjoy!

Holy Typos!

Geesh, you'd never know I am a college student. Sorry about that!

At the end of the day.

Okay so it's Friday of mid-winter break and I gotta be honest I'm pulling my hair out over here. I cannot wait until 5:15 when Johnny walks in the door and I walk out (for girls night out, of course)! Geesh...what did you guys think I meant, hee hee. Anyway, is this just me or do other Moms feel the same way? I cannot handle the four of them at one time all cooped up in this tiny little three bedroom ranch. They have oodles and oodles of toys, more than any children really need. I mean seriously, there's a TV in every room hooked to some sort of game system from game cube to wii to a v-smile, not to mention, the multiple handhelds in this house. We got coloring books, dolls, build-a-bear, i-pods, reading books, art supplies, more boardgames than my closets can hold and yet... they're bored. Huh, something is so wrong here. The problem is, I'm tired, overwhelmed, out of energy, and just plain out of ambition right now. How do we as parents go through our own issues without burdening our children with them. I know at least once a day I wonder what my kids will remember about their life. Will they remember that Mom yelled all the time or have I emotionally scared them in some way or another? Will they sit in they're life groups as adults and talk about how messed up there childhood was? Man, I sure hope not. I know there are so many things in my childhood that I thought were all about me only to realize now that I had nothing to do with it. my parents were going through their won stuff at the time. Johnny and I were talking the other day and he said something that, first made me remember why I love him so much, and second made me realign my thinking about the kids! He said, "At the end of the day, when I think about what I have taught my children and what they will have as adults, only one thing matters. I don't care if they end up poor, I don't care if they are alone...(you get the point)All that matters is that they know the Lord and that their walk with him is the most important part of their lives." That is so true, at the end of each night that is the only thing that matters! Lord, this is where you come in, mold me and shape me to be more like you. May I be a radiant light of you throughout my tiny little three bedroom ranch so that my children will know why it is so important to know and love you! Just some of my thoughts for today.

My projects for tonight!

Today the man in brown brought me a little package. It was my new whipper snapper stamps. I love them so much as I am sure you will be able to see why. I only had the energy to make one of them tonight. That dinosaur is so cute. The second card is using the flower stamp from stamping bella. A big thanks to Crystal for letting me stamp out a bunch of them. I have had so much fun coloring the past few days. The kids have been home all week on mid winter break so it's been relaxing, especially since I've also had a terrible cold. I am starting to feel much better now so hopefully I will get to work some more this weekend!

A Bittersweet Debut!

Here it is guys, my sweet daughter Morgan's debut card! She has really been into the whole scrap booking/card making thing lately. It's nice that she is getting to that age that we can share hobbies, though she's gonna need a job as I can barely support my sickness let a lone hers! Hee hee. She is so proud of this card, she asked me if I was going to post it on my blog so without further a do...

My Prismas are here!

Okay so I am so glad that I finally got my Prismacolor pencils! Jami bought me this adorable little paint can and I altered it with the Silhouette paper (ctmh) but I need help with what to put on it. I'm thinking... My Art stix or something like that. Maybe even just my name...Kim. Well, any comments you may have would be much appreciated! Here it is. When I'm done I am going to add pink prima flowers and some ribbon. I'll post the finished product!

A Listening Heart?

Wow, did you ever step back and take a good look at your life, where you need to be improving, where you're doing okay, the times that are loud, the few times that are quiet? We are always doing okay if we have God on our side. Isn't it crazy how sometimes we get further and further away from the Lord. Sometimes we don't even realize it has happened, other times it's intentional. I am overwhelmed at this thought... Even when our hearts are far from God, still he sits and waits for the noise to die down, he leans in close and whispers, "I Love You my Child" How undeserving am I at times. When was the last time you heard His voice? Even when our lives are loud and overwhelming, there he sits, right next to us. All we have to do is listen. I am just truly thankful for His voice this morning. I thought I would share. Take a moment today and just listen.

Had fun tonight with the SCS ladies!

Well, I have just become a member of the scs (splitcoaststampers) and with the new release of the bellas they had a party tonight with EmmaBella from Stampingbella.com. How fun was that! She let us in on some of the new things to come! It was my first time posting on the boards over there but everyone was nice. I gotta tell ya my wish list is looooooong so I must narrow by Monday. I will also be getting my new prismas on Sunday so I will definitely be playing with the Bella's on Sun. I will post again then and share with you all. I also want to do the challenges so hopefully I can figure out how to post my pics to the correct gallery. Well, ta ta for now.

How funny is that!

Take the Quiz

Bella's...Help!!!

Okay, I joined this bella swap right...I am so sick of this card! hee hee. I have to make 21 cards and though I LOVE the bellas I am not too fond of 21 of the same card, ya know. Okay well, I just needed to vent a bit because I don't really like swaps but the thought of getting 19 new bellas in return just pulled me right in. Plus, then I will be able to see which ones will be on my next order!?!? Anyway, here's a sneak peek of the infamous bella card.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines day to everyone out there in blog world. Well, the evening is almost over and I have to say it's been a pretty easy day. My dear sweet valentine came home for lunch today and brought me a beautiful card and the new WOW 2008 cd. Which, I might add, is an awesome cd not to mention the fact that it has the song on it that I have been trying to find now for months! I say he did very good, and not because he bought me a cd but because he is a fabulous husband all year long. Now, don't get me wrong, he IS still a man but for the most part I admire the person that he is. I am so truely blessed that God picked me to be his wife. He's not the most romantic, he's a little rough around the edges at times, he's constantly late (has no concept of time), but you know what...he LOVES me and I love him! Okay well, I guess that's enough mushy mushy, for tonight. I hope that you all had a fabulous valentines day as well. Have a blessed night.

Poop & Blood!

Okay, so my girlfriend wanted to go to Archivers this past weekend which is a 40 min drive for us. My Mom had taken my girls for the night and would still have them but I still had the boys adn you know how that would go, right? Well, I decide after much consideration that I will just take the boys! Oh boy, was that a mistake! We don't even make it half way through the store when my oldest son who is 4 say's, "Mom, I have to go to the bathroom and I pooped in my pants." What, are you kidding me! As I look over to him I see it dripping out his pant leg. I sweep him up and take off for the bathroom and start to get the mess cleaned up. I get it under control and head back out to the store! I just drove 40 minutes to shop here and I am not leaving until I see everything in this dog-gone store. So here we go, me and the stroller and my son with his pants turned inside out and wet, are off shopping again. We make it three quarters of the way through and now muffled with all the, I wanta go homes, I hear, "Mom, I have bleed coming out all over!" I look over and now he's bleeding everywhere! Who's cruel joke is this? So, here we are off to the bathroom again! Needless we left after that and I did, in fact, leave with some gorgeous prima flowers! We get them into the car and I look at my girlfriend and say, "The next time I say I'll just bring the boys, please just say,"Poop & Blood Kim, Poop & Blood!" We just laughed our way home!

Gameboys and Toilets don't mix!

Okay, so the other day I notice that my one year old son had headed down the hallway with visions of the bathroom in sight. He had already been missing from the living room for a minute or two so I can only assume that the bathroom was where he had headed to since his big brother had just gone down there to use the potty. I sent my oldest daughter down to get him for me while I finished serving dinner and I hear, "Mom, Hurry!" I get down the hall to find my sweet little baby boy sitting in a puddle of nasty pee water from the toilet. The worse part of this story is that somewhere between the living room and the bathroom he got a hold of my youngest daughters pink gameboy and has played in the toilet with it! Are you kidding me? How do these things happen in a matter of minutes? Ohwell, I promised my sweet little princess that Mommy would replace it and so now as I list my beloved Longabergers on ebay, I sit and think, How I love those kids!

Here I come!

Okay, I am now an offical blogger. A great big thank you to Jami for sucking me in. hee hee. I am happy to be here and hopefully will be able to keep up with you guys. There are so many of you that have fabulous art displayed and I thank you for all your inspiration. Happy Blogging!
